Hello everyone! Happy late 4th (my birthday was the following day and things are happening so I've been lowkey hella busy) to those that celebrate and to those that don't -- hope your day was well nevertheless! No major updates right now. However, since we're in the heart of summer, I'm already diving into some potential ideas for the holiday seasons! I've also been considering reworking some things that will hopefully catch your interest and to actually incorporate some of things that have been updated over the past year. Happy Fathers day to all the cool dads out there and the moms who are pulling the weight of two! Also! Artanis officially hit ONE YEAR as of the 6th! (I know, I'm a little late.) Thank you to everyone who has stuck around and continues to help out when they can. I know it's been really rough for a lot of us with their jobs being extra busy with the general public getting out more. WHOOPS I thought I've posted updates here since December. I GUESS NOT WHOOPS. A N Y WAY. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! We can just casually sweep 2020 right under that DIRTY DIRTY RUG. 2021 is off to an eh start in the real world it looks like but THAT ASIDE, Artanis can be your little escape from harsh realities :) We have an activity check going on started Feb. 1st through Feb 12th. That is P L E N T Y of time to get just one whole post in to be considered safe! The activity check will be JUST like the last one. Its so crazy to think that a year ago around this time we were just starting off with a soft opening. That's all the news from me for now. As of November 21st, our domain (i.e. the starting point of Artanis) turned ONE YEAR OLD! Guys, that's AWESOME and really gives me warm happy vibes. A big BIG shout out to our awesome staff and their efforts, our FABULOUS CODER RAE for making the pretty magic happen and of course, to you guys as members in general to bring this to life! Thank you all so much! I can't express enough how wonderful you all are - both current and new members alike :) ♥ Okie

I hope everyone had a fabulous Thanksgiving/Turkey Day for those who celebrate! With the Holidays here, it should come to no surprise that things may slow down a little bit. With that said, major events or anything of the like will grow lax. Those ruling Kingdoms will not be held accounted for their activity until January 5th 2021. That being said, after the 5th of January, those ruling in Kingdoms ( Not Tribes, Guilds, etc) will be penalized should they fall in-active after failing to post within their 12-days requirement or they have not posted at all. As a reminder this is stated in the guidebook and just hasn't been enforced. Once the new year has passed, this will change. Again, this is only for Kingdoms! ♥ Okie

Happy November everyone! Hope your Halloween was a spooktacular one [; The last day of the scavenger hunt ends tomorrow! (Nov. 2nd) If you missed the halloween scavenger hunt, don't worry! There will be more activities for you throughout the holiday! Also make sure to cast your vote here regarding our joining cap for major events! Got a suggestion for some other events too? Feel free to drop those in the suggestion channel in our discord! ♥ Okie

Our first activity check has concluded! Members that did not post in the activity check have been sent to pending, you'll just need to reaudition! Any accounts that are empty, not been touched with matching OOCs have been removed. OOC accounts that did not match the discord memberlist have also been removed. If this was a mistake, simply reapply and let us know! There's a lot of you and we're only human! The next activity check will probably be late Feb or early March of 2021! Also we have a five way tie for our character OTM here so we need that broken to announce our OTMs! This coming Sunday we will also be having a movie night! There has been an addition made to the guidebook regarding staff reviewing profiles during auditions and an addition to the discord server.
Also if you have not already as Asra stated previously: Make sure you go through and make the necessary information within your UCP if you have not already. [ See his update in discord updates ]
As a reminder, we've been open since JUNE and September is right around the corner which entails there are things that are still trial and error so additions and subtractions are likely to occur to ensure things run smoothly & make sense.
